Typograph and FontCraft

FontCraftFrom their website

FontCraft turns your own handwriting into a font. You write each letter in the browser.

Your first font is free, and then it is £4.99 per font.

TypographStart from letters, not from nothing

Typograph works the other way round from a classic font editor. You start from a template, or describe the typeface you want, and then tune the letterforms.

It is trained on 50,000 hand drawn glyphs, supports 66 languages and runs in the browser. You own full rights to the fonts you make.

Time for a family of 10 weights is our own estimate for an experienced designer making a Latin typeface with spacing and kerning, not a figure from the makers. Real projects vary.

Which to pick
Both are good at different things

Pick FontCraft if you want a font of your own handwriting.

Pick Typograph if you want a typeface rather than a handwriting font. Try Typograph.
